Recreation
Harbourview South Optimist Park
The existing park area within Harbourview South
is currently being revitalized and will include
redevelopment of the existing play structure and
safety surface to meet CSA standards and provide
for more dynamic play for children ages 5 to 12
years. In addition, additional tree plantings will
be undertaken, together with the installation of
additional benches and waste receptacles.
In order that all residents are able to enjoy the
existing and future park amenities, the existing
pathways will be upgraded and connected to the new
phases with the completion of a linear park and
trail system throughout the new area.
Valley Gardens Community Centre
Harbourview South is served by the Valley Gardens
Community Centre at 218 Antrim Road. Please visit
